About Denise
I have been deeply sensitive to the emotions and energies of others from a young age, with an intuitive awareness that developed naturally over time. Alongside this was a quiet inner knowing of life beyond physical death, long before I undertook any formal spiritual training.
My abilities are part of a family lineage, with both my maternal grandmother and a cousin working as mediums. However, it was the passing of my mother to the spirit world at the age of 47 that marked a profound turning point in my spiritual journey. Seeking understanding and connection, I began attending a Spiritualist Church, where my own mediumistic abilities were gently awakened and developed.
I trained formally within the Spiritualist Church, working in a grounded, ethical, and evidence-based way. Alongside this, I trained in Reiki and later became a Reiki Master, which deepened my sensitivity and understanding of healing on all levels.
I have completed extensive training, including study at the Arthur Findlay College, UK, and hold certificates from the Spiritualists' National Union (SNU) in Demonstrating Mediumship and Public Speaking (CSNU). I currently work as a demonstrating medium in Spiritualist Churches and Centres, teach mediumship, and offer private one-to-one readings for clients worldwide.
Alongside my spiritual work, my professional background as a District Nurse — including years within palliative care — has shaped my approach profoundly. This experience gives me a deep understanding of grief, loss, and human vulnerability, allowing me to work with compassion for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
